Primary evidence

Primary evidence of service includes being on several university committees. Currently, I serve on the Hilton College Curriculum Committee and have a term until 2023. In April 2022, the college's Associate Dean nominated me to be part of the University Assessment Committee. The committee meets every month to discuss making assessments and how to apply them more consistently within the university, especially in accreditation reporting. The Associate Dean nominated me for this role because I complete our college's SACs (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools) accreditation reporting. Over the last year, modifications were made to the plan to provide better reporting in the annual submission. A copy of an email from Bobbie Koen, the Department of Institutional Effectiveness program manager, is included in the files available below. She comments on the thoroughness of the reporting. In the I SDT program, evaluations are discussed. One of my takeaways was to use what I had learned to improve how we measured student learning and achievement in identifying if the goals established were being met.
